Art Collection

Art is intrinsic to The 'Quin House and will inevitably be seen, contemplated and appreciated by members and their guests. Each piece of art has specific placement in the many club rooms to tell a story without words. 

The 400+ piece permanent collection includes approximately 50 pieces restored from the original Algonquin Club, that adorns the walls of the club. The Algonquin Club's historic collection has been emboldened and broadened by way of a diverse and talented group of artists who have local, national and international stories and backgrounds. 

Blending this new blood with the existing collection makes for a dynamic story that threads the full height of the historic building. The goal of the collective walls reinforces a simple appreciation of beauty and , like all great art, prompts a richer conversation than what meets the eye.
