We take your privacy very seriously. Thank you for adhering to The Member Privacy Policy & Rules as outlined below. Please note, this Member Privacy Policy & Rules is intended to supplement, not replace, The Quin’s Privacy Notice posted on The Quin’s Website and which may be amended from time-to-time. We strongly encourage you to read and familiarize yourself with both.

CONSENT TO USE OF LIKENESS.
From time to time, The Quin’s appointed staff and photographers/videographers will be capturing key events. By entering and remaining in those events and areas, you consent to being photographed or otherwise recorded, and to the use of your likeness for commercial purposes by The Quin. Should you prefer to remain anonymous or do not consent to your likeness being captured, please immediately let a staff member know and please position yourself away from the camera. We will do everything we can to respect your privacy and to accommodate your concerns. We may pixilate or use other methods to obscure the identity of Members who have not consented to be filmed or photographed.

CALLS FROM MOBILE PHONES & COMPUTERS
To protect the relaxed atmosphere within The Quin, Members may not take or make phone calls while in The Quin, including video and voice calls from mobile phones and computers. Calls from phones or computers may be made in designated areas (phone booths located on each floor or designated areas).

PERMITTED USE OF DEVICES
Texting and using apps (excluding camera or other recording apps) on mobile phones are permitted at The Quin. Computers and other non-telephone devices (such as tablets) may be used during the day but must be put away by 6pm when social activity becomes The Quin’s focus.

CAMERAS/RECORDING DEVICES
Unless otherwise approved by Club management, in the photo booth, or in private functions and events, no cameras, video or recording devices may be used by Members while at The Quin. The Quin reserves the right to take possession of and confiscate any camera (including camera phones), video or recording device and any photos, videos or other recorded images used or taken while on the Premises.

Photos or videos taken on personal cell phones are permitted by the Member who owns the device and may be taken only of the guests in your party. These photos may not be distributed to the media or posted on external websites or social media. Members may not take images or recordings where other members of the community can be readily identified without their express permission.

AUDIO/VIDEO SOUND
Movies, videos, songs, and presentations must only be played through headphones and should not be audible to any other Member or Guest present.

NEWS MEDIA/SOCIAL MEDIA
The Quin has a strict no press policy for Members. Members are not permitted to speak to the media on behalf of the Club, or about membership, events in and activities related to the Club. Members will be held accountable if they disclose or identify any other Members or Guests who are at The Quin in any radio, television or online news media (“News Media”), or social media including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, YouTube, Vimeo and on personal blogs (“Social Media”).

CONFIDENTIALITY
Management and all staff members adhere to the strictest confidentiality standards and pledge to maintain all records and personal information concerning Members in the strictest confidence. We cooperate with law enforcement investigations, court orders, and subpoenas in their requests for information that may otherwise be confidential.

GUEST ADHERENCE TO POLICY
Each Member is responsible for ensuring that his or her Guests are aware of this Member Privacy Policy and Rules, and their compliance with it. Every restriction on Members is equally applicable to Guests.

PRIVATE EVENTS
Each Private Event host (“Host”), with the approval of Club management in charge of the Private Event, will have discretion to determine the privacy policies applicable within the confines of the Private Event venue. Members and Guests attending a Private Event must receive the Host’s permission before recording, photographing, videotaping. Any publicizing of the Event in News Media or Social Media, and otherwise publicly identifying or describing the Event, the Host, or its attendees is prohibited unless authorized by both the Host and Director of Marketing for The Quin. Any outside photographers must be approved by the Executive Team at The Quin.

MEMBER INFORMATION
Each Member agrees to not make use of any list of Members, or other Members’ personal information, in a manner inconsistent with the Quin’s purpose, culture, and respect for confidentiality and privacy. Unauthorized distribution, selling, transferring, or otherwise making accessible Members’ personal information to third parties or using other Members’ personal information for commercial purposes, to send spam communications, or for unlawful or untoward purposes is strictly prohibited.
