1. Default Payment Method
- What It’s For: The Default payment method is automatically used for any transaction that doesn’t have a specific payment method assigned.
- Important to Know:
- You can only have one Default card at a time.
- If you want to delete your Default card, you’ll need to assign another card as the Default first.
- Adding a new Default card will not replace any card you have set on a membership subscription. To do so, either use the Membership Dues card usage or update the payment method on file under Account > Memberships
- How to Update It:
- To make a card your Default, just select the card, click “Set as Default,” and save your changes.
2. Membership Dues
- What It’s For: This option lets you assign a card to pay your membership dues.
- How It Works:
- When you choose this option, you’ll see a list of all your membership subscriptions.
- Pick the subscriptions you want to use this card for—one, multiple, or all of them.
- Why It’s Useful: Updating the card here will also update the payment method for those memberships at the subscription level, so your dues are always processed smoothly.
3. Food & Beverage
- What It’s For: This payment method is used for all your food and beverage transactions.
- How to Set It Up:
- Add or select a card and assign it for Food & Beverage.
4. No Usage (Just Add)
- What It’s For: You can add a card to your Wallet without assigning it to a specific purpose.
- Why It’s Handy:
- Cards saved under No Usage can still be selected during checkout whenever you need them.
Managing Your Cards
Here’s how to keep your Wallet organized:
Adding a Card:
- Go to the Wallet and click “Add Payment Method.”
- Enter your card details, and choose whether to assign it to a specific use or keep it under No Usage.
Editing a Card:
- Select the card you want to change, then update its usage or other details.
- Remember: If it’s your Default card, you’ll need to reassign another card as the Default before making changes.
Deleting a Card:
- You can delete any card that’s not set as the Default or tied to an active transaction (like Membership Dues).
